The Combination High Speed Roller Shutter Door merges the speed of a high speed curtain system with the durability and security of a steel roller shutter. This dual-purpose solution is designed for facilities that require rapid opening cycles to maintain climate control or workflow efficiency, while still needing a heavy-duty barrier for after-hours security or high-risk operational areas.

The flexible high speed curtain operates during daily use, delivering fast access and reduced air exchange for improved environmental control. The steel roller shutter can be deployed independently for security or access restriction without disturbing the high speed curtain system.

Available in solid or ventilated slat configurations across multiple steel thicknesses, these doors are fitted with unique nylon end-locks that operate quietly and require no greasing — reducing maintenance significantly. Operation options range from simple manual push/pull through to chain-driven, gearbox or fully electric motor systems.

A comprehensive range of locking mechanisms is available — barrel bolts, chain locks or pin locks — which can be combined for high-security installations. All doors are treated with an anti-rust electro-plating and epoxy coating process, and finished in any of 22 UV-resistant powder-coat colours.

Roller Shutter Wicket Gate — Integrated Pedestrian Access

A Roller Shutter Wicket Gate is a pedestrian door built directly into a roller shutter or sectional door, providing secondary access to the protected area without the need to raise the full door.

Ideally suited to staff entrances and exits in warehouses, factories and loading bays, a wicket gate eliminates the energy loss and security risk of repeatedly raising a large roller shutter for individual pedestrian access.

Available in two operational modes: push-up/chin operated (manual, hands-free) or electrically operated for automated pedestrian access control. Each gate is custom-made to fit the specific roller shutter opening and is available in a wide range of UV-resistant colours to match the host door.

Note: Wicket gates require a minimum slat thickness of 0.8 mm and cannot be fitted to doors built with 0.6 mm slat material.
