Spiral ISO 50 — Rigid-Panel High-Speed Insulated Door
The Spiral ISO 50 is an advanced high-speed closure system combining the speed and reliability of an industrial rapid door with the thermal performance of a rigid insulated panel. The 50 mm panels feature high-density polyurethane insulating cores with aluminium or pre-painted galvanised steel cladding, achieving a thermal U-value of approximately 1.5 W/m²K.
Unlike spring-balanced systems that are subject to fatigue and breakage, the Spiral ISO 50 uses a patented counterweight balancing system — eliminating the risk of spring failure and significantly extending service life. The patented high-density polyethylene guide system and Push-Pull chain drive replace traditional steel cables, reducing wear and simplifying maintenance.
The spiral winding mechanism avoids contact and wear between panels, and the door requires no ceiling fixing points, reducing both installation time and structural requirements. A 22-beam infrared photocell safety system and brushless electric motor with inverter and absolute encoder ensure safe, precise operation at speeds of up to 2 m/s.
Panel options include insulated (aluminium or galvanised steel), glazed (polycarbonate), single-wall blind (structural aluminium) and AirFlow (ventilated) configurations.
