Spiral ISO 80 Cold Room — Maximum Insulation High-Speed Spiral Door
The Spiral ISO 80 Cold Room is the highest-insulation variant in the Spiral range, specifically designed for temperature-controlled and cold storage environments. The 80 mm rigid thermal-cut double-wall panels (aluminium or steel construction) achieve a U-value of up to approximately 1.0 W/m²K — and the door maintains full operational performance at temperatures down to −25 °C.
Like the ISO 50, the Spiral ISO 80 uses a patented double Push-Pull chain lifting system with high-density polyethylene vertical guides — eliminating steel cables and the associated wear, stretching and failure modes. Opening speeds of up to 2 m/s minimise the duration of each thermal breach, helping to preserve internal temperatures and reduce energy consumption.
The spiral winding mechanism means the rigid insulated panels do not contact each other during operation — protecting the insulation layers and extending panel life dramatically. The projected service life is 3,000,000 operating cycles with standard maintenance, making the ISO 80 one of the most durable cold-room door solutions available.
